The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has issued an official announcement regarding the selection test for the upcoming Navodaya Admission 2024-25 of Class 6th. Students who wish to pursue their education at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) must apply online for the JNVST selection test. Every year, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti holds a selection test to choose qualified applicants for admission to Class 6th. The Government of India provides many amenities to impoverished and meritorious students in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) to help them achieve their dreams.

Age Requirement: A candidate requesting admission must have been born between May 1, 2012, and July 31, 2014 (both dates inclusive). This applies to all types of candidates.
District: Only candidates from the district in which the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been established are eligible to apply for admission.
Current Study: A candidate appearing in the selection test must be in Class V for the entire academic session 2022-24 in a Government/Government Aided or other recognized school or a ‘B’ certificate competency course of the National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district where admission is sought.
Previous Admission: Candidates who have not been promoted and admitted to Class-V before July 31, 2022, are ineligible to apply.
Attempt Limit: Under any conditions, no candidate is eligible to take the selection test a second time.
Application fee: The candidate does not need to pay the application fee for the JNVST selection test.
As we all know, the number of seats available in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas is limited. To address this issue, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti holds a selection-based examination known as the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). NVS approves student admission based on JNVST results. JNVST is the primary admission method for Navodaya Vidyalaya.

JNV Assam Selection Test Details
The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and will have 3 sections with only objective-type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.

NVS will make the admission card available in due course, according to the date set, which will be shown on the application portal as well as on our website. Admit cards will be distributed for free, and candidates/parents will be allowed to download them before the JNVST.
The JNV Selection Test 2023 results are expected to be announced in June 2023. Candidates can view the results on both the official admission portal and our website.
