Every year, Bodoland University conducts an entrance examination for Post Graduate (PG) admission. At the postgraduate level, Bodoland University offers MA, M.Sc, MCA, and MBA degrees. The application process for the Bodoland University Entrance Examination 2023, for the PG level, will begin on 13th June 2023 and will end on 15 July 2023

Eligibility Criteria of BU PG Admission

Candidates who have finished their bachelor’s degree from a relevant stream are recognized as eligible for PG courses.

✅ M.A., M.Sc., and  M.Com Courses:

• To get admission on M.A., M.Sc., and  M.Com Courses, The candidates should have to pass B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. (10+2+3 pattern) with a Major / Honours course in the concerned subject with 50% marks. ( ST/SC 45%)

✅ M.Sc. COMPUTER SCIENCE & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Courses:

• B.Sc. (10+2+3 pattern) with Major / Honours course in the concerned subject.
• B.C.A / B.Sc. (IT) (10+2+3 pattern) with Mathematical Science in 10+2 level.
• B.Sc. (in the 10+2+3 pattern) with Computer Science / Information Technology as a pass course / elective subject.
• B.Sc. (10+2+3 pattern) with General Pass course with one-year Computer Diploma (Post-Graduate) from a recognized institute and Mathematical Sciences in (10+2) 1evel.
• B.E. / B.Tech. (CSE or IT)

✅ M.Sc. BIOTECHNOLOGY Courses:

• Science Graduate having Honours in any of the Biological Sciences with 50% marks or equivalent Grade.
• Pass course students with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade having at least one biological subject in their course combination.
• Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC/ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

✅ DBT (DIPLOMA IN BAMBOO TECHNOLOGY) Courses:

• For a Diploma in Bamboo Technology courses, students should have to pass  H.S. from any stream.

✅ M.B.A. Courses:

• A Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate or in Major/Honours subject (if any) from any recognized University.
• Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC/ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

✅ M.C.A. Courses:

• A Bachelor‟s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with at 6 At least 50% marks in major /Honours subject or 55% marks in aggregate for those candidates having no major/honors.
• Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC/ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.
• Candidates must have passed Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or graduation level.

✅ PGDHRE Courses:

• Graduate in any discipline with 45% marks or equivalent grade.
• Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC/ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

✅ B.Ed. Courses:

• Graduate or equivalent from any recognized university with at least a 50% mark in aggregate. In the case of an applicant who failed to secure 50% in the UG course, then the candidate must have secured 55% in the PG course.
• Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC / ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.
• Teachers deputed by the Govt. of Assam for the course must submit a study leave certificate / No Objection Certificate from their concerned employers along with the application.

✅ M.Ed. Courses:

• B.Ed. / B.T. of Bodoland University or any other university recognized by this university with at least 55% marks in aggregate as per the latest NCTE norms.
• Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC / ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.
• Teachers deputed by the Govt. of Assam for the course must submit a study leave certificate / No Objection Certificate from their concerned employers along with the application.

✅ CERTIFICATE COURSE IN BODO:

• Graduate in any discipline with 45% marks or equivalent grade.
• Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC/ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota.

✅ Ph.D. Courses:

• Admission to the Ph.D. The program shall be made preferably at the beginning of the academic year. Any person with at least 55% marks or equivalent Grade (50%-mark equivalent Grade in case of SC/ST candidates) in a Master’s Degree of any University / Institution recognized by the UGC (Recognised Statutory Body for Foreign Students) in concerned and allied subjects. All candidates shall have to appear in the admission test followed by a personal interview conducted by the concerned Department.

Steps to Apply for BU Admission Online

• Scroll down to the Important Link section.
• Click on the Online Apply Link.
• Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
• On The Bodoland University website, Click on the New User option

• Then Fill out the form, Upload a Photo and Signature then Click on the Create Account button.

• After that, Click on the User Login option with your User name as your registered Email and Password and click on the Sign In button. 

• After that, Fill out the complete form, Upload documents, and then Submit your form.
• Take a printout of the acknowledgement for future use.
