DHE Online Admission ID – Generate Students Unique ID Online 

According to the official notification of the Directorate of Higher Education (DME) Assam, all students who want admission to Assam’s various institutions (State Universities/Government and Provincial Colleges) for higher studies must create an Online Unique Student Admission ID. This procedure is required for all students, whether they have already been admitted to any institute or are about to be admitted. How to Generate Online Student Unique ID?

Students can apply for DHE Online Unique IDs on the official website of the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam. Furthermore, students can complete their application for a Unique Student Admission ID by following the simple steps outlined below.

✅ Steps to Apply

• Scroll down (⬇️) to the Important Link section.
• Click on Generate Online Unique ID link.
• An official web portal will now load in your browser’s new tab.
• In that portal register yourself and fill the all your asked details.
• After that, you have to submit your details.
• After submission, a confirmation SMS will be sent to your mobile number.
• That’s it. Now, you will get your DHE Unique ID.
• Also, you will receive an acknowledgment copy of your submission.
• Keep that acknowledgment copy for future use.

Before filling out the DHE, Assam’s online registration form, students must have the following information ready. All students note that it is mandatory to get admission to their desired institutes.

Note: Students who have already generated their Unique ID in the last Academic Session need not generate the Unique ID again. The same ID shall also be used for the current Academic Session. For modification of registration data, they can login and update their profile.

How to Modify DHE Unique ID?

Students who made a mistake when creating their Unique ID or whose educational qualification has changed must update their Unique ID information. The steps to edit the Unique ID details are shown below, and students can modify their details by following these steps.

• Scroll down  (⬇️) to the Important Link section.
• Click on Modify Your Application link.
• An official web portal will now load in your browser’s new tab.
• In that portal, you will get a login form.
• In that form, you will need to enter your DHE Unique ID and Date of Birth.
• Now, you will find Personal Information, Bank Account Details and Qualifying Examination & Admission options.
• Click on any one of the above options to update the details of that particular option.
• Now, you can make changes. Click on the Save button to save the updated details.
• After saving, click on the Acknowledgment option to download the modified acknowledgement copy.
• Keep that acknowledgment copy for future use.

Note: Online Unique ID generation process is a mandatory process to get admission to any institute in Assam. Hence, all the students are advised to generate their IDs even if they have already completed their online admission process for the session.
