Eligibility Criteria of DUPGET 2023
Students who are willing to join Dibrugarh University for their higher studies and willing to participate in DUPGET 2023 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria. The course-wise required eligibility criteria have been provided below.
✅ Master of Arts (MA)
A student must fulfil any one of the following criteria in order to appear in the entrance test for the Master of Arts (MA) course.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the concerned subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject applied for admission and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point. Candidates passed the qualifying examination in CBCS must have studied minimum 24 Credits in the subject applied for admission.
✅ Master of Commerce (MCom)
A student must fulfil any one of the following criteria in order to appear in the entrance test for the Master of Commerce (MCom) course.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Speciality/ Honours in the concerned subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject applied for admission and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point. Candidates passed the qualifying examination in CBCS must have studied minimum 24 Credits in the subject applied for admission.
✅ Master of Science (MSc)
A student must fulfil any one of the following criteria in order to appear in the entrance test for the Master of Science (MSc) course.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the concerned subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject applied for admission and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point. Candidates passed the qualifying examination in CBCS must have studied minimum 24 Credits in the subject applied for admission.
Note: Candidates who appeared/ appearing in the 6th Semester BA, BSc and BCom Examinations, 2023 and waiting for their results are eligible to appear in the DUPGET 2023 and can get provisional admission if selected. Also, Candidates who appeared/ appearing in the Final Semester Examinations and waiting for results but have backlog in 2nd and/or 4th Semester Examinations are also eligible to appear in the DUPGET 2023 and can get provisional admission if selected.
Application Fee
Students have to pay Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty Only) as an application fee to complete the online application process for Dibrugarh University Post Graduate Entrance Test, 2023.
Mode of Payment: Students need to pay the application fee through an online payment gateway using their ATM card, Internet Banking or UPI. Note that no other mode of payment is accepted.
