Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam has issued an ITI Admission notification. ITI Admission is an important step for individuals looking to pursue vocational courses in various trades such as electrician, plumber, welder, mechanic, and many others. Candidates can apply online through www.itiassam.nic.in for admission to NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, and IMC under SCVT (SCVT trades conducted by IMC in some ITIs) under Craftsman Training Scheme for the session 2023 – 2024. Eligibility Criteria of ITI Admission

1. Name of Course: Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English), Fashion Design & Technology, Desk Top Publishing (DTP) Operator, Multi-Media Animation and Special Effects, Digital Photographer, Mechanic Auto Body Painting, Secretarial Practice (English), Cosmetology, Front Office Assistant

Duration: 01 year

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class  or its equivalent

2. Name of Course: Computer Operator & Programming Assistant

Duration: 01 year

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination

3. Name of Course: BLTT (Bodo Language Transcription Trade)

Duration: 6 months

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination

4. Name of Course: Mechanic Diesel , Pump Operator cum Mechanic, Plastic Processing Operator, Mechanic Tractor, Mechanic Auto Body Repair

Duration: 01 year

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination with Science & Mathematics or its equivalent.

5. Name of Course: COE sector (BBBT modules): Plastic processing sector, Fabrication(Fitting & Welding) sector, Construction & Wood Working sector, Information Technology sector

6. Name of Course: Painter( General)

10. Name of Course: Wireman

How to Apply for ITI Admission?

Interested Candidates need to fill out the online application form for ITI admission through the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education Assam web portal – https://itiassam.nic.in/. In the application form requires candidates to provide their personal details, educational qualifications, choice of trade, and other relevant information. candidates can follow the simple steps listed below to complete their online application for admission to ITI.

• Scroll down and click the Important Link section.
• Click on Online Registration Link.
• Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
• Click the New Registration button, You will be redirected to a new web page.
• Fill in your all details as directed and click on Submit Your Details button.
• After that login with your Login Id and Password, and complete the application process.
• At the end, take the printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

Admission Fee of ITI Admission 2023

✅ For NCVT & SCVT Trades

• Tuition fees (Rs.50/- per month): Rs.600/- (for 1 year)
• Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/-
• Registration fees: Rs.25/-
• Medical Examination Fees: Rs.25/-
• Trainees Union fees: For 1 year Rs.175/- & For 2 years Rs.350/-
• Hostel service charge: Rs.50/- (where applicable)
• Hostel Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/- (where applicable)

Note: Payment of tuition fees will be waived for BPL candidates, except for SCVT under IMC courses.

✅ For SCVT under IMC Courses

• For Non-Engineering courses: Rs.15,000/- per year
• For Engineering course:  Rs.16,500/- (for one year) & Rs.33,000/- (for two years)

Counseling of ITI Assam Admission

Counselling for ITI Admission 2023 will start in due course as per the admission schedule. Only 

✅ after the verification of documents, the eligible candidates will be able to participate in the choice-filling process. In this counselling process, candidates have to opt for the course and college of their choice to get admission.

✅ After that, the concerned authority will analyse the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and prepare the merit list accordingly. Accordingly, the seat allotment result for each round will be declared and successful candidates will have to report to the allotted college/institute for further admission formalities.

Reservation of Seats

The category-wise reservation of seats in ITI, Assam admission process will be as follows.

Tea Garden Labour/ Ex-Tea Garden Labour: 2 seats will be reserved in each ITI Trade.
